Harsh steel air atomizing nozzle is a unique two-substance nozzle used where very large and high viscous quantities of liquid and pastes have to be turned to mists or fine atomized. Highly atomized sprays can be obtained at comparatively low flow rates. Liquids can be fed under principles of gravity, suction or by pressure. These nozzles provide an independent passage for liquid and air whose flow can also be controlled allowing accurate metering. 

The mixing in these nozzles takes place in 2 different ways. 
1. Internal mixing. 2. External mixing.

Conventional full cone air atomizing
This 2 fluid nozzle is used to atomize liquids with the help of air or steam. These nozzles are made available with different spray set ups, which can be altered by just changing the air cap or liquid nozzle. Different desired flow rates and spray coverage can be achieved by interchanging these. Depending on the type of liquid the mixing set up is selected.easing, pressure cleaning etc.

This needle ensures that the needle orifice does not clog. The adjusting screw provided with the needle controls the liquid flow. The entire assembly is operated manually.

This conventional Full Cone has a compact design with an adjustable air cap by which a variation in the atomization can be achieved. It has application mainly in tablet coating. It is made available in 1/8”BSP (F) end connection. On request this model is also made available with a control screw to regulate the flow of liquid.

Multiple wide angle air atomizing
This nozzle is specially designed to achieve wide angle coverage and high capacity flow rates subsequently maintaining the fine atomization. Its spray angle ranges from 60° to 100°. This design is available in a cluster of 3 or 7 full cone nozzles mounted on the nozzle head. It has independent connections for Air and Liquid. On request similar design with a modified auto shut off assembly can also be supplied.

Harsh Steel Air Atomizing nozzle is a unique two substance nozzle which finds its application in tablet coating, humidifying air products, F.B.C., tracking light heavy oil firing, spray coating, drying etc. 

Efficiently designed to reduce compressed air consumption, it works under an atomizing pressure of 0.3 bar upwards. This particular design is available in a flat fan pattern too. This two substance nozzle guarantees a large surface coverage by interchanging different spray setups.

The construction of this nozzle is with three independent connections each for Air, Liquid and Compressed Air for Auto shut off needle. The precise design of an inbuilt cleaning needle facilitates in quick cleaning of the liquid nozzle outlet. On switching off this compressed air supply the needle closes automatically and abruptly the liquid outlet, thereby avoiding any post dropping.

All individual components are available as spare parts. i.e. nozzle bodies, liquid inserts and air caps, needle assemblies etc. The precise manufacturing of replacement parts ensures interchangeability without hampering the spray performance.

Both liquid and air flow rates can be controlled allowing accurate metering. This two substance nozzle guarantees a large surface coverage. The spray angle can be adjusted within a range of 10° to 100° max. Auto shut off needle prevents any post dropping 

The body of the nozzle is aluminum cast with brass adjusting screws for spray angle and flow rate and brass air cap. All other wetted parts are machined from S.S.316 and P.T.F.E.
