Alloy C4 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with outstanding high temperature stability. This component makes the C4 exceptional resistance to wide variety of chemical process environments, such as hot contaminated mineral aids, solvents, chloride, acetic, seawater and brine solutions. The alloy C4 gives a design freedom in areas where weld geometry makes excessive heat build-up unavailable. It’s generally similar to alloy C276, but has a improved stability.
